Refund policy
What happens to your money when you change your mind, and how to ask for it back.
Last updated September 15, 2026
What this page covers
This policy is about paid Quaryan subscriptions bought directly from us. It sits beside the terms you accept when you open an account; where the two say something different about your money, the one better for you is the one that counts.
If you bought Quaryan through an app store or a reseller, their refund rules apply and we cannot pay the money back ourselves. Write to us anyway and we will tell you where the request belongs.
The free plan is the trial
The Free plan needs no card and does not run out. It is there so that nobody has to buy Quaryan to find out what it does. Paid plans start with a free trial as well: nothing is charged before the trial ends, and cancelling during it costs nothing.
We would rather you found out that Quaryan is the wrong tool for you before paying for it than ask us for the money afterwards.
Cancelling, and what it costs
Billing is monthly, and you cancel in your account settings — no email to write, no call to make, no questions asked on the way out. Cancelling stops the next charge.
Your plan keeps running until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the account then drops to Free. We do not delete your work when you cancel.
Cancelling in the middle of a month is not by itself a refund of that month: you keep what you paid for until the day it runs out.
Your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have 14 days from the day the contract is concluded to withdraw from it, without giving a reason.
Quaryan is a digital service that starts the moment you subscribe, which is to say you ask us to begin inside those 14 days. Withdraw during them and we charge you only for the share of the period you had access to; where the service has been fully performed in that time with your express agreement, the right ends there.
A clear statement is enough to use it. Write to the address below and say that you are withdrawing — there is no form to hunt for.
Buying for a business is a different thing: the right of withdrawal is a consumer right and does not apply to a company account.
When we refund without an argument
Some charges are plainly our mistake, and some are plainly nobody's intention. We do not make people fight over those. We pay the money back in full when:
- you were charged twice for the same period
- you were charged after you had cancelled
- a renewal you had forgotten about was charged and you had not used the plan since — tell us within 14 days of the charge
- Quaryan was broken or unreachable for a long enough stretch of a paid period that you did not get what you paid for
- we got the price wrong, or took an amount you never agreed to
Where a refund is partial, we work it out by the day rather than by the month.
When we do not
And some things we will not refund, so that the list above stays honest:
- periods you used the plan in and afterwards wished you had not
- the remainder of a month after you cancel, outside the cases above
- money you spent with Google, Meta, TikTok or any other advertising platform — Quaryan builds the campaigns, but the ad budget is paid to them and is theirs to return
- accounts we closed for breaking the terms of service
- charges older than six months, unless the law says otherwise
Nothing here takes away a right you have by law. Where the consumer law that applies to you gives you more than this page does, the law is what counts.
How to ask
Write to the address below from the email address on the account, and tell us what was charged, when, and what went wrong. An invoice number helps; it is not required.
We answer within two working days, and we settle a refund within 14 days of agreeing to it.

How the money comes back
Refunds go back the way they came — the same card, the same account — because that is the only place our payment provider can send them. We do not hand out credit on your Quaryan account instead, unless you tell us you would prefer it.
Once we have sent it, your bank decides how quickly it shows up. Five to ten working days is normal, and a card refund can take a full statement cycle. Any currency conversion is your bank's, at its rate on the day, so a refund in a currency other than euro can come back a little different from what went out.
If we change or stop something
If we raise a price, the new one applies from your next billing period and we tell you before it does — if you do not want it, cancel and you pay nothing more. If we discontinue a plan or shut the service down, we refund the unused part of anything you have paid in advance, without you having to ask for it.
If you disagree with our answer
Write back and say so. A person reads it, and we would far rather settle a disputed charge with you than have your bank settle it for us. We are not obliged to take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board and we do not do so voluntarily — which changes nothing about your rights under the law, or about the courts open to you.
Changes to this policy
When the way we bill changes, this page changes with it. The date at the top is when it was last edited, and the version you are reading is the one that applies to a charge made while it is up.
